A Successful Career Woman

To achieve career success is not an easy road to follow, especially for women. We tend to find ourselves comparing to other women, to men, and to the standards our society places on us to follow. Whether you are a stay – at – home mom, work in an office, are an artist, or own a small business, being a career woman can be challenging. Today I would like to discuss how you can be successful in your career and still maintain your integrity, sanity, and who you are as a woman.
Today in one of my reading plans they were discussing the topic, “A Career Woman.” One example my reading plan gave was, Jesus left this earth not having healed every sick person, saved every soul, and mended every broken heart. This should give us hope because at the end of the day we don’t strive for perfection, we strive to please God and see Him glorified in our work. If we seek to please God, and allow Him to work in and through us, not only will we have the wisdom and capability to do our job, but we will experience great blessing and favor with those around us. I will go even further to say, it will give us a peace and joy we wouldn’t otherwise have.
So, today as you head to your workplace, or maybe you are coming back and you can implement this for tomorrow, why not put your focus on God and ask Him to use you and bless you in your career? What is the worse that could happen? You have a sense of hope that something good might happen that day? So if we as women – especially those who choose to follow Jesus – are to be successful in our career, let’s honor God in our job and put our best foot forward. Let’s walk out what Paul said in Colossians 3:23: “Put your heart and soul into every activity you do, as though you are doing it for the Lord himself and not merely for others.”* Let’s show the world what a real career woman looks like!*https://my.bible.com/bible/1849/COL.3.23
